Renaming Folder Problems
This problem is again showing that Microsoft has completely lost control of their OS. Its possibly that MS have been slow to push 1607 out to domain members preferring standlones and home users to be the guinea pigs and as a result not many of But for sure it'll put you back in business, and allow you to comfortably fall in line with the tyranny of the MS upgrade structure. But if I try to rename the folder I get: Error 0x8007003B: An unexpected network error occurred The same happens if I try to rename the folder directly after I create If you know somebody that can fix my script then please post the solution here. No other modifications at all. Error 0x8007003b: An Unexpected Network Error Occurred Windows 10 It seems that excluding the folders from Indexing on the Server does resolve the issue but as others have highlighted this slows down search results for the users.

It only affects the 1607 clients.
The bug as been assigned to a team that is working on it. Windows 10 Error 0x8007003b
Funny thing is, only one (of 7) WIn10 had this issue, the only diff between that one and the others is that it is a brand new PC (Dell) came with Attempting to move the folder either by dragging or cutting-and-pasting will also result in the error. Like the others this has really been irritating recently, so much that I was remoting onto the server itself whenever I needed to do any heavy folder changes (home network, not Updated through normal channels to 1511 and had no issues until yesterday after "upgrading" (and I use that term loosely) to 1607.
