I have run Remote Desktop Connection on the client PC and provide the correct username and password but the login dialog simply disappears when I click connect and nothing else happens. Laptop cannot remote outbound to the desktop and the desktop seems not to accept it. little digging, I found that "CTEaxSpl" is a Creative Labs splash screen for their Audigy audio card. Each machine has an (admin) user account set up for the remote machine to use, and they each have a password set. I tested the Remote Desktop connection from the VISTA PC to the Windows 7 PC and logged on fine but I need to be able to connect from thew Windows 7
