Try something like TightVNC instead - not quiet as slick but it's free and runs on just about anything. By removing it and re-adding it while Windows is managing the connections, it creates it for access by All Users... But it would not work. Go to Control Panel > (view by large icons) > HomeGroup. something like that. Very simple to use. The windows machines in question are all on the public internet and I can connect to them fine directly via our many other connections.
