Need Help OC'ing Asus P5Q-E

I want to run my CPU @ 3.2GHz (Safe & Stable). What else i need to change? Reviews show it as a solid performer and close to the 280---I was looking at those as well, but I was considering the 260 (216) like what you have...any thoughts on DRAM Static Read Control Config Options: Auto, Disabled, Enabled A note in the manual says that, "Adjusting this item might enhance DRAM overclocking ability." I mean all these options in BIOS are too overwhelming for me, not very clear about what happens when some options are set manually and their dependency with each other. Its support 1066Mhz at 2.2v (as per spec doc). I'll probably think of something the moment I post this, and I'll try to keep this updated. Try bumping the FSB Term and NB voltages a bit. Now if only I had the Ninja 4,... well then all the USB ports are bad then. That cannot be it cause I have had the same problem with different OS installs and different USB ports.

You should be able to run 3.8GHz easy with a minimal Vcore bump. That is 1:1, right? Also I know this CPU can run at more than 4GHz cause I did that with the 1066 ram alone. Mine will do 400MHz at stock voltage.

The problem Is I abslutely don't know frequency for CPU /Ram and the same for the clock of the ram.

Can the Asus P5Q-E take DDR3?

I did enable or disable certain options that promised a better OC, or better performance, but like I said before, I didn't change anything else, not even the northbridge voltage.
