This has been true every morning before I leave home for work, and about half of every afternoon when the kids get home from school. But, it is also the slowest high speed internet service. Every online test I do has me set up with 144/144 SDSL for $100 a month. I literally thought I was going crazy!

The solution of running your own DNS server works well, even though one loses the benefit of BellSouth's DNS cache. We'll most likely contact BellSouth again within the next month. The intranet linksys wireless connection is always up though as a all the laptops can connect to the main desktop iMac serving as a file server. Winner: BellSouth Quality Both provide high quality service.
